A space to be heard and supported through loss
When someone or something important is lost, life can feel unfamiliar. Grief can affect how you think, feel, sleep, work and relate to the people around you. Counselling can provide a safe, confidential and compassionate space where you can talk openly about what you're experiencing — without judgement and without pressure.

ABOUT ME
How counselling can help
Loss can take many forms, and can arise from a range of different circumstances, each affecting us in deeply personal ways; Bereavement and grief The death of a loved one Sudden or unexpected loss Anticipatory grief and living with the possibility of loss Non-bereavement loss Relationship breakdown or separation Changes in career or employment Loss of identity, purpose or confidence Changes in family or personal circumstances Life transitions Moving through significant life changes Becoming a parent or changes in family life Retirement or changes in working life Moving home or starting a new chapter Adjusting to changes in your sense of self or future My approach is centred around listening without judgement and meeting you as an individual. My role is to support you and help you make sense of what you're going through, at a pace that feels right for you.

Ways we can work together
There is no single way to grieve and there is no one way to experience counselling. I offer different ways of working, so we can find an approach that feels comfortable and right for you. Giving you the flexibility to choose what feels most comfortable and supportive. Perhaps sitting face to face feels reassuring. Maybe talking online feels easier, allowing you to stay in a familiar space. You may prefer a single session to focus on something that feels particularly difficult right now, without the commitment to ongoing counselling. Or perhaps being outside, walking side by side feels more natural than sitting in a counselling room. Whatever you choose, the focus remains on you - your experiences, your feelings and what you need.

What happens when you get in touch?
Taking the first step
I'll make the process as straightforward as possible. 1. Get in touch Send me a message or arrange an initial conversation. You can tell me as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing. 2. We'll talk We'll discuss what's bringing you to counselling, what you're looking for and whether I might be the right person to support you. 3. Begin at your own pace If we decide to work together, we'll agree how we'd like to proceed. There is no need to have everything figured out before your first session.
